MAY 16 2012 – A fire killed two people at ArcelorMittal’s Temirtau steel plant in central Kazakhstan on Tuesday, Reuters news agency quoted the company as saying.
The fire burned for three hours and damaged part of one of the furnaces, forcing the plant to reduce output for an unspecified period.
