Dubais DP World to manage Navoi Free Zone in Uzbekistan

NOV. 27 2022 (The Bulletin) — Dubai’s DP World will manage the Navoi Free Zone in south-central Uzbekistan. The deal hands control of one of Uzbekistan’s most ambitious logistics project to one of the world’s largest port operators. DP World operates several ports in Central Asia, including the Khorgos dry port on the Kazakhstan-China border and Kazakhstan’s Aktau port on the Caspian Sea. The Navoi Free Zone is focused on becoming a logistics hub.
