DEC. 8 2022 (The Bulletin) — Azerbaijan’s state-owned oil and gas company Socar stopped buying oil from Russia for its refinery in Turkey because of Western sanctions. Reuters quoted a Socar official as saying that it had stopped buying Russian oil, at least temporarily, to comply with these sanctions.
