JAN. 6 2023 (The Bulletin) — Azerbaijan’s earnings from oil and gas exports more than doubled in the 11 months to the end of November 2022 to $33.6b, data from Azerbaijan’s state customs committee showed. Energy prices jumped this year because of the impact of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine but analysts said that new gas supply deals with the EU spurred Azerbaijan’s windfall.
